Please Rufus come back in Paris before the end 2008
I've never see you in solo
I'll do Blackout Sabbath and yes, please, become veggie for the peace of soul
So Rufus plays in Nice (in front of a crowd of happy retirees maybe ?) and not in Paris ? Somebody's not happy and that somebody is me !!!
Come back to the Casino de Paris ! Put on your best dress or Jesus outfit, plug in the mic and release the stars !!!! Rufus, I beg you !!!!
Hi yall !
Well me iz happy ! I live a two-hour drive from Nice :) Rufus goes to Paris all the time, leave some for us southerners ! ;)
Anyway I am going but have no one to share this treat with. So if anyone is in the same case in Nice, let me know ! Maybe we could hook up for the gig. Oh and I speak french too so don't be afraid :)
Je viendrai d'Aix en Provence si y'en a que ça intéresse. A plus !
Hi Rufus, David & I will be in Nice the second half of July and we just got opening & closing night tickets to the jazz fest. We've seen you at the Beacon, Carnegie Hall, & Radio City, and now at this beautiful event. And the olive grove setting is the loveliest of the 3 stages at the jazz fest. I know you are literally in Elton John's backyard, and if he's home you'll probably hang with him, but if you're up for meeting a couple fifty-something New Yorkers, we'd love to take you guys to dinner. Can't wait to hear you in Nice.
Thomas
Don't know if you ever read these, Rufus, but: Thank you for such a wonderful show. We were up front and center. Your voice was in great form. Too bad we couldn't meet. It would be fun to talk with you. I loved your sense of humor in French. We could talk real estate because we had just been looking at flats in Nice that morning. Anyway, back to the show. Loved everything, especially The Art Teacher, Not Ready To Love, Zebulon, The Maker Makes; Sansoucci, actually, each song was its own story, both in music and in lyrics. You are a true storyteller. Thank you. Can't wait till the next time in NY. Best wishes, Thomas and David
